Data Flow

The direction of data flow between a sender and receiver can be outbound, inbound, or both, depending on the type of invoice.

File Data

Direction	Description
Outbound	The company is the Sender.
Inbound	The company is the Receiver.
Inbound and Outbound	The company is both sending and receiving invoices.

Interchange Data

Direction	Description
Outbound	The company is the Sender.
Inbound	The company is the Receiver.

Document Data

Direction	Description
Outbound	The company is the Sender.
Inbound	The company is the Receiver.
Inbound and Outbound	The Sender and Receiver belong to the same company.
